Kratos is a dominating corporation in the display manufacturing business. They build top-rate monitors and TVs. Kratos has been in the business for about 50 years. Their headquarters is a large skyscraper building, and their look is corporate and professional. I created an abstract mark with a strong visual composition. It’s bold and sturdy, and is strong enough to be recognized by itself, with no text.
Wild’s Cafe is an all vegetarian restaurant located in Santa Rosa, CA. Their menu consists mostly of vegetation that can be found somewhere in California wild life. The restaurant atmosphere is typically pretty calm. They play indie-alternative music. They are very health conscious, all their paper is recycled.
This is a redesign of Golden Harvest. Golden Harvest is a small Chinese restaurant on main street of St. Helena, California in the Napa Valley. It has a friendly atmosphere and staff, and they serve delicious tea. Their food is also quite exceptional. They have a bar area with a TV, so it’s a nice place to relax, get some drinks, and watch sports games.
For this project, I designed a logo for someone starting an online shop. He sells tire stickers to give your wheels a race car aesthetic. His shop contains a large selection of designs to choose from, or you can design your own and submit it. His clientele mostly consists of racers.
The College Market is a vegetarian grocery store next to Pacific Union College. This is a redesign of their identity. They didn’t have any type of logo at the time, but they liked this one and adopted it as their own. The College Market is small and unique, so I made sure to represent it that way. I didn't want it to feel like a chain.
Layers is a bakery/cupcake shop in San Francisco with a lounge area and WiFi. Its name references the layers used in programs like Photoshop or Illustrator. It’s a great place to sit in for a few hours to work on anything or just relax. They wanted a bakery that appeals to people in the field of art, mostly designers. However, the target market for a bakery is pretty wide, so they wanted to be neutral as well. The name will appeal to artists, and the layering of the “Layer” and “cupcakes” strengthen the concept.
I made this logo for someone who DJ’s at various venues. He was doing it as a small hobby, but as he started to play at bigger places, he needed a professional logo for the venues to use. He plays a mix of genres, mostly hip-hop and EDM. It's a sharp, but simple logo that fits well in almost any place.
Aya is an application centered around time efficiency and staying on track. It includes an alarm clock that syncs with a play list, a planner, and a messaging app that can deliver scheduled messages. It’s a simple, easy to navigate app that utilizes clean, flat graphics to maximize clarity.
Aya helps organize all the time oriented things in your life. You get to wake up to your favorite songs and have a planner to keep track of all appointments and assignments. It also lets you set messages to be delivered at a chosen time. The logo is emulating the marks of a clock, while suggesting the shape of a “y”. You should be able to read “Aya” just by looking at the logo.
